The Seiko Prospex SRPG57K Save The Ocean Special Edition Antarctica Monster has officially converted me.
I was never a huge “Monster” fan, but I decided to add the Antarctica edition to my collection — and I’m genuinely impressed. It’s one of those watches that looks good online, but in the flesh it’s on another level. The dial is absolutely stunning, with its unique icy blue tone and textured pattern inspired by Antarctica. It catches the light beautifully and gives the watch real presence on the wrist.
As you’d expect from Seiko’s Prospex line, it feels solid, purposeful and built like a proper tool watch — but with that special-edition flair that makes it stand out.
I picked it up at a great price, which makes it even more satisfying. A fantastic addition to the collection — bold, distinctive, and far better in person than it looks on paper.
It is very difficult to tell the time as the hands blend in with the dial
I am very happy with the quality and feel of the special edition Antarctica Monster. It is a solid beautiful quality watch. The colour in the picture online isn't quite as blue in reality, it's more a darker blue/grey but still striking. The lense over the date is great and makes seeing it very easy. Delivery was within the 5-8 working days and well packaged and protected. I will be enjoying this watch for many a year to come.
