The oceanographer is fully committed to protecting marine biodiversity, “Save The Ocean”. It’s a beautiful watch on the wrist, especially with the Manta Ray blue face and the blue silicone band. Very comfortable to wear. Standout quality. Very pleased I purchased this watch.

There is nothing I can say that is negative about this watch. This is my first Seiko watch and I'm glad I have one because it is fantastic. It is comfortable and fits well. I am a woman and have tiny wrists and it still fits. I love manta rays and was excited to not only find this but also other marine life to choose from. I feel good about this purchase bc I know SEIKO PROSPEX SPECIAL EDITION is involved with SAVE THE OCEAN who support various marine conservation activities through this initiative. They protect and preserve the ocean now and for generations to come.

Just received the King Samurai yesterday. Definitely a bang for buck watch with its dark Manta Ray subtle details on the watch face, sapphire glass, ceramic bezel.This watch sits very well on the wrist and i think the King Samurai will be my new daily watch. It sits well on wrist & lume is better than most expensive swiss watches. The manta rays design is very subtle not distracting whatsoever. The dial and bezel glossy finish compliments really well and the case sits comfortably on a 6.5-7’’ wrist. The strap is very smooth and comfortable to wear, imo it is a better an option than on a bracelet.
Awesome watch, has a beautiful dial in both texture and design. Solid components, nice case and bezel, sapphire glass. Watch wears smaller than the size because of the tapered lugs top and bottom, and is more shiny in person than most pics/reviews show.
I bought this watch for myself. Wanted a Samurai and was sold on the ray swimming on the face. The sale was most professional. I even got an email from Seiko confirming authenticity. I won’t look elsewhere for my next watch.
