What Is Naruto And Boruto?
Naruto is a Japanese manga series that was first broadcasted in 2002 and then introduced abroad to fascinated fans throughout the world until its end in 2017.
It is the true story of an underdog. It is the story of a young boy who overcomes adversity to realise his dream of becoming the head ninja in his village and eventually, the best ninja in the world.
The story teaches and portrays some of life’s greatest lessons. Some of its main messages are about resilience, hard work, and never giving up.
Boruto is the sequel to the series and it focuses on Naruto’s son, Boruto Uzumaki, whose adventure continues today.
Despite the show being quite young, Boruto has already experienced his fair share of important and life-altering events.
He is loud, energetic, and stubborn not unlike his father. Also much like his Naruto, Boruto achieving success is the main story of the show.
Now you know about the shows, its time to find out more about the watches themselves!

All are water-resistant to 10 bar and have see-through case backs. Each watch will come in a collector’s box inspired by the Earth and Heaven Scrolls from the Chunin Exams, a widescale examination used to test the skill of junior Ninja.
Let's check out the awesome designs!
Naruto Uzumaki SRPF70K1 Model
Naruto is the main character and leading protagonist of the franchise. He is a young ninja from the fictional village of Konohagakure (Hidden Leaf Village).
His goal is to become the leader of his village and the best ninja in the world. Judging by this watch, Seiko has certainly done him justice!
His signature orange tracksuit is represented on the strap of the watch, with a navy-blue stripe down the middle to portray the lines on his clothing.
The bezel and inserts reflect the tough training required to become a Hokage, a title bestowed on the leader of the Hidden Leaf Village where Naruto belongs.
It also features the village badge on the top of the bezel whilst its material is designed to imitate the metal that surrounds the badge.
The gold case that wraps the watch is a reflection of Naruto’s yellow hair - we saw a similar design in the Ken version of the Seiko Street Fighter collaboration.
The dial is heavily decorated with a white minute track and orange markers to further portray the Naruto spirit.
Over to the back of the watch and you will find the family emblem of Naruto and the limited-edition number of the watch.
Sasuke Uchiha SRPF69K1 Model
Sasuke Uchiha is one of the fan favourites and the closest rival to Naruto. He is one of the last surviving members of Konohagakure's Uchiha clan.
His whole mission in life is to avenge the death of his family who was slaughtered by his older brother Itachi.
His version of the collection appropriately matches his uniform in the show. The strap is a dominant blue colour and features white lines to compliment his outfit.
The case colour and metal rings are stainless steel which provides a subtlety compared to Naruto’s variant.
The bezel is treated with a blue coating and a galvanised insert whilst the Hidden Leaf Village symbol on the top represents the scar on his forehead.
Sasuke Uchiha’s trademark Jutsu "Chidori" is also reflected in the dial pattern, in which the Jutsu's hand sign is discretely highlighted on the one, three and eight o'clock positions.
On the back of the watch is Uchiha clan symbol and the limited-edition number yet again.
Shikamaru Nara SRPF75K1 Model
Shikamaru Nara is a ninja affiliated with the village of Konohagakure. He is a close friend of Naruto and, he displays a laid-back attitude throughout the series.
In terms of his watch, his theme colours are represented on the watch – as they are with every other character in the series.
His style is perfectly represented on the dial of the watch and the indexes are designed in the shape of his favourite Shogi game pieces. Shogi is Japan’s version of chess, and the reference to this on the watch represents Shikamaru’s strategic genius.
There is also a reference to his shadow abilities with lines of shadows that display horizontally and vertically across the dial.
The hands and bezel inserts are also blacked out to further amplify his shadow theme. The dial ring also features a pattern reminiscent of the pattern on his inner shirt.
The case back also features the Nara Clan's Kamon and the limited-edition number of the timepiece.
Rock Lee SRPF73K1 Model
Rock Lee is a ninja affiliated with the village of Konohagakure and is a member of Team Guy. He is a year older than Naruto and his Academy classmates.
As you can see by his name, he draws inspiration from legendary fighter Bruce Lee, and his watch is certainly one that Bruce would be proud of.
Green is the overall theme with Rock Lee’s watch and it’s no surprise when you look at his green uniform.
The canvas has an orange strap to match his shin sleeves whilst the case and metal keepers have a grey tone. This creates a feeling of toughness, much like his character.
The blocks of white tiles on the bezel represent the bandages on his arms, and the symbols represent "The Eight Inner Gates".
Behind the case are a pair of kanji characters meaning "Guts" – as found on his heavy ankle weights.
Gaara SRPF71K1 Model
Gaara is a shinobi of Sunagakure and a major villain in the manga and anime franchise Naruto. He was a ruthless killer who was only reformed upon meeting Naruto Uzumaki.
The case of his watch features a matte earth tone gold finish, and his theme colours are again represented on the strap.
Sand is the overarching theme of the dial and it features a gradient from the centre outward. The dial is surrounded by a ring of spikes that clearly represents the danger of his character.
At the one o’clock position is Gaara’s head marking which represents love and brings the timepiece to life.
The pattern inspired by the mark on his gourd is seen on both the dial ring and case back.
Behind the piece, is his unique emblem and the limited-edition number of the watch.
Boruto Uzumaki SRPF65K1 Model
Boruto Uzumaki, who appears in the final season of Naruto and then features in his own show, is the son of Naruto Uzumaki and Hinata Uzumaki.
Much like his father, Boruto is loud, energetic, and stubborn. He is also on a quest to become the best ninja he can be.
In terms of his watch (Seiko 5 SRPF65 Automatic Naruto & Boruto - Boruto), the strap is black with a pink stripe to match his suit, and the case features a matte finish.
The dial has the same spiral pattern as his father Naruto’s watch but in black. It displays the ''Rasengan'' swirl with high contrast markers, and the 12 o'clock index is inspired by a bolt as seen in the animation's logo.
Like the timepiece of his respected father, the back features the Uzumaki Clan's Kamon symbol and the limited-edition number.
Sarada Uchiha SRPF67K1 Model
Sarada Uchiha is the only child of Sakura and Sasuke Uchiha, and because of this, she is a central character in Boruto.
She also featured in her own spin-off show The Seventh Hokage and the Scarlet Spring in 2015.
While Sarada is friendly, sociable, and polite, she has a fierce temper similar to her mother's and she is certainly not someone to be messed with.
Her watch features splashes of red and burgundy to represent her uniform in the various shows. It also has a similar matte finish case that does not distract from the features of the face.
The "Fire Style: Fire Ball Jutsu" Sarada inherited from her father Sasuke, is expressed in the red gradation dial.
The trademark ''Sharingan'' is also featured on the dial to represent her pursuit of improving whilst the two-tone nature of the bezel represents both sides of her family.
The back of the watch also features her clan emblem and the limited-edition timepiece number.
