G-Shock's GA-2100 series originated from the brand's AW-500 series. When the AW-500 first arrived in 1989, it marked the upending of the conventional digital G-Shock and set the tone for every analogue watch to come. This analogue DNA has been inherited over the years by a range of different models, including the CasiOak series.
While the CasiOaks movement originates from the AW-500 series, the octagonal bezel is derived from the very first G-Shock DW-5000 watch. It is a timeless design that has not only survived but has thrived over the decades since its launch back in 1983.
CasiOak's take features design traits from both of these series to create the slimmest, most compact G-Shock on the market. With a toughness emblematic of the new era, the GA-2100 is not to be missed.

CasiOak Features
CasiOak's feature the heavy-duty shock-resistant construction that G-Shock has become famous for. A Carbon Core Guard structure also helps to protect against bumps, scrapes and scratches. It delivers superior shock resistance by leveraging the properties of carbon fibre. The use of this carbon fibre-reinforced resin also made it possible to slim the case to the utmost limit and create the thinnest G-Shock on the market.
Of course, they also feature 200 metres of water resistance which makes them ideal for use in a wide range of locations and situations. While it features an analogue movement, the double LED high luminance backlight illuminates a small window on the dial.
A very handy slide lever makes it easy to attach and remove the band for cleaning and other maintenance. They also include other useful functions like world time, a 1/100-second stopwatch, a 24-hour countdown timer, date and day display.
